Friends!
As some of you already know, Reaching For One have broken up.
We've had some amazing times these last three years, learned a lot and seen places we never thought we would see (still having nightmares about Rimbo!), but time goes by, people change and now it is time for us to move on. Everything has an end and ours came now.
We want to thank everyone who has listened to our music, come to our gigs, and everyone who has been supporting us in various ways these years. We are lucky to have so many great friends and fans. Thanks for everything.

It's ON!
I can't believe it's been almost six months since anyone wrote here... Well, you know how it is, the time move so fast when you're having fun :)
We're sorry we've made you guys wait so long for any news from us, but now we actually have a lot going on!
I'm back from Ireland now (omg I love that place), and we're working on some new material.
As for live gigs, we're gonna participate in Emergenza again, and this year we will make it to the final for sure! We also have a gig at the legendary rock club Harry B James here in Stockholm the 26th March!
AND we're gonna make a video to our song Always Running later this spring! Awesome huh?

Times they are a-changin'
Hi guys! Just thought we would tell you what's going on this fall.
The band is going to be on a little time-out and there will be no livegigs (ok, maybe acoustic but probably not).
While Fredrik has already gone back to Lund for his studies and Omi's soon going to Ireland to study at the University of Limerick, Danny sees the opportunity to fulfill a dream he has had for a while: to study electronic music production at SAE institute. Meanwhile Sarah continues her music and media studies at Swedish Royal College of Music and Joel has a side project called Finding Fortune with his friend Jens (who is also a member of incredible Partfunk).
We won't have the opportunity to rock together as we are used to for a while, but of course we will all still be in contact with each other, exchanging ideas through email and stuff :) So in a couple of months we will be back again, more awesome than ever, LOOK OUT!!!

Good times
Oh my, was I in a bad mood when I last wrote something here :O
But after that things actually started working real good for R41. We found a new guitarrist almost immediately and we participated in Emergenza Music Festival where we made it to the semi-finals.
After that, unfortunately, our new guitarrist started acting like a real asshole so we fired him and there were only four of us, again. But then we thought "Fuck it, Fredrik is our man!". We don't care if he lives far away from us and can't attend all the rehersals, he belongs with us! So Fredrik is back in the band again :D
And two weeks from now, on the 21th of June, we're going to record some new songs! And we will make sure that our music will be available on Spotify!!!!

Hard times
Hi. It's been a while.
Times are getting hard for R41 again. If you like us on facebook you already know that Danny, Joel and I were in a car accident in the end of November last year. Joel and I was virtually fine but Danny hurt his neck and had to undergo surgery. We had to cancel the gig in Gustavsberg. But in the end, we all survived and Danny has recovered quite well so we feel like we are super lucky. Things really could have been A LOT worse.
Another troublesome thing is that Fredrik has decided to move to Lund in southern Sweden to study at the university so now we have to look for another guitarrist :( When we found Fredrik we were so happy because we felt like the band was back on track again and we made great plans about photoshoots and recordings and stuff, and now it's like we're back on square one, the same place we were in last year when Cisco told us he was going to leave the band.
But you know we will never give up. We have some gigs planned the following months, starting with us participating in the international music competition Emergenza Music Festival. The 20th january we play our first and last gig with Fredrik at Fryshuset in Stockholm. After that it will just be four of us for a while.

Spelning på Gustavsberg!
Hej alla!
Nu har det gått ett tag sen någon skrev här och det finns mycket att säga om tiden som gått sen jag gick med i bandet - för det första har det varit fruktansvärt kul att spela med R41 och att till slut känna sig som en del i bandet på riktigt, trots all mobbing jag fått utstå (som yngst, från Malmö och längst i bandet har jag det inte lätt.
Vi har repat på gammalt, gjort om och gjort nytt, några i bandet var och såg Royal Republic och Not Called Jinx på Debaser, en fruktansvärt bra spelning och jag själv fick träffa min gamla gitarrlärare, Hannes.
Jakten på gig påbörjades för inte allt för länge sen, men jag måste erkänna att det kom lite oväntat när vi blev erbjudna en spelning nästa torsdag i Gustavsberg. Själv har jag inte stått på scen med ett riktigt band på ganska länge, och det ska bli jättekul att göra en riktig spelning igen. Spellistan är satt, gitarrerna är stämda och vi är alla väldigt taggade. Spelningen börjar klockan 19.00 på "Gurraberg", eventet på facebook kan hittas här: http://tinyurl.com/d6qesfq
Det har märkts i replokalen att vi är redo för den här spelningen, och det kommer defenitivt vara en att komma ihåg länge.
